In order to process your application, we require the following: Government Issued Photo Identification for every member 18 years or older, Social Security card for all members of household, Birth Certificates for all members of household, Proof of Enrollment for any Education, Income Verification (Including food stamps and child support or any other Government assistance).
- Residents must agree to annual home inspections by BHA representatives and semi-annual inspections during occupancy.
-Barnesville Housing Authority, Public and Section 8 Head of Households must maintain all utilities in their name.
Prior residents of BHA and JHA must:
- Have paid in full any balance owed to BHA, JHA, or any housing authority.
Once the initial online application is completed, all original documents required must be submitted to the office within 5 business days. All individuals on the application over the age of 18 must also come to the office to complete required paperwork. Failure to provide these required and completed documents will result in your application being withdrawn.
All adult members (18 years and older) must attend the application appointment. BHA and JHA will also review rental history and criminal history of household members.
BHA and JHA has instituted a smoke-free policy. This policy prohibits the use of tobacco products in all living units, indoor common areas, administrative offices, maintenance and community buildings, and all outdoor areas.
